Once your custom card has been fully engraved, assembled, and prepared for return, we conduct a quick $0.01 authorization test to confirm your chip is functioning properly. This ensures your new card performs flawlessly the moment you receive it — providing confidence that everything was transferred and built correctly.

What This Does

  • Confirms live chip functionality after engraving and final assembly.
  • Guarantees successful activation and transaction accuracy before shipment.
  • Processed as a $0.01 authorization, which is immediately voided or refunded after verification.

How It Works

  1. We’ll contact you if needed to temporarily unfreeze your card to complete the chip verification.
  2. The authorization runs successfully under our Aura Protect+ secure testing process.
  3. Once confirmed, the charge is voided/refunded, and your card is shipped out immediately.

  • This test confirms chip functionality only and does not purchase goods or services.
  • If your card remains frozen, we’ll coordinate a brief unfreeze so verification can complete.
  • The process ensures that your new card leaves our facility fully functional and verified.
