Aura Engravings – Return & Replacement Policy

At Aura Engravings, every card is custom-crafted with precision and care. Because each order is uniquely personalized, all sales are considered final once engraving or chip transfer begins. Please review the details below before placing your order.
1. Non-Refundable Orders
All customized or engraved orders become non-refundable and non-returnable once engraving or chip transfer has started. Please verify all spellings, names, and design details carefully before confirming your order.
2. Exceptions for Crafting Errors
If an error occurs on our end — such as incorrect engraving, wrong design, or color mismatch — we’ll gladly provide a free remake or store credit (no cash refunds). Customers must submit clear photos or video evidence within 3 business days of delivery showing the issue. Requests submitted after this period may not qualify for a remake.
3. Cancellations
If you wish to cancel before engraving begins, a 10–20% cancellation fee may apply to cover setup and materials. Once engraving has started, cancellations and refunds are not available.
4. Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for securely shipping their cards to our studio. Aura Engravings is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during transit to or from our facility. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service for added protection.
5. Chip Transfer & Functionality Verification
To ensure every chip performs correctly before shipment, Aura Engravings performs a fifty-cent ($0.50) authorization test after each chip transfer. This quick verification confirms that the chip was successfully installed and can communicate properly with payment terminals.
- We recommend customers temporarily freeze their card before shipping for added security.
- If the card remains frozen during testing, the authorization may fail — this is expected and does not affect engraving or placement quality.
- In some cases, our team may contact you to request that you briefly unfreeze your card so we can perform the final verification test. You’ll always be notified beforehand, and the transaction will appear as a fifty-cent charge from your issuing bank.
- Customers may opt out of this verification step by notifying us at the time of purchase or immediately after placing their order.
Card Data Policy: Aura Engravings never stores or retains any card chip or magnetic stripe data. All information is transferred directly from your original card to your new custom metal card in a secure, offline environment. Once the process is complete, all temporary data is permanently deleted, and the session is recorded for verification and transparency.
Aura Engravings cannot guarantee chip functionality if:
- The chip was inactive, expired, or physically damaged prior to arrival.
- The issuing bank permanently deactivated the account or chip.
All chip handling, testing, and reassembly are performed under secure, recorded conditions by authorized Aura Engravings technicians.
6. Aura Protect+™ Coverage (Payment Cards Only)
Orders protected with Aura Protect+™ receive an added layer of confidence:
- One-time courtesy remake for expired or damaged cards (up to 2 years).
- Guaranteed quality assurance beyond the initial 30-day craftsmanship period.
- Includes Free Seal Reissue protection if tamper seals are damaged during shipping or handling.
Aura Protect+™ must be purchased within 30 days of the original order date and cannot be added retroactively. Coverage does not apply to lost or stolen cards unless accompanied by proof of carrier-verified loss.
7. Player & Trading Cards
Player cards and collectible trading cards are also custom-made and non-refundable once production begins. If a defect or engraving error occurs on our end, we’ll gladly remake the item or issue store credit. Player cards are not covered by Aura Protect+™, but they are backed by the same 30-day craftsmanship guarantee for engraving or print quality issues.
8. Limited 30-Day Craftsmanship Guarantee
All cards include a 30-day limited guarantee covering manufacturing or craftsmanship defects. If an issue is confirmed within that period, Aura Engravings will repair or remake your card at no additional cost.
